Product Description

The RICON S VS connector are ICC Approved pre-engineered post-to-beam connectors. manufactured from mild steel with a welded collar bolt. They consist of two identical parts, and are suitable for uses in timber framing, mass, and heavy timber construction.

The RICON S VS Series have been extensively tested for the North American Market; Full scale fully loaded tests, fire resistance rating tests, inter-story drift performances.

ICC-ESR Approved, they are also installed with the ASSY VG CSK screws which have been awarded an ICC-ESR approval in the United States and the Canadian Construction Materials Centre Reports (CCMC) approval in Canada.

Simple installation is possible with structural screws perpendicular to the plate. With its short neck, only 35mm (1 1/2″) long, the drop-in assembly is easier than similar connectors.  RICON connectors can be installed fully concealed or visible. Suitable for timber framing, log home building, mass and heavy timber construction.
