The ASSY Kombi Long Threaded (LT) screw is an engineered structural wood screw specifically designed for high-performance steel-to-wood connections. It allows for a precise setting without the need for pre-drilling. This specific type of long threaded screw is manufactured with an aggressive counter thread self-tapping tip, biting into the wood, and assuring quick and easy installation.

Designers must pay special attention to the geometry requirements, as the ASSY Kombi Long Threaded must follow the requirements of the partially threaded screw. Offering Code-approved reliability, the ASSY Kombi LT screw has been awarded an  ICC-ESR approval in the United States.

The hexagonal head is engineered for installation using either a socket or a bit for multipurpose applications. The reinforced and tapered shoulder below the screw head ensures a tight fit in pre-drilled steel plate holes. The tapered shape enables the screw to self-center. The ASSY Kombi Long Threaded screw is equipped with a regular hexagonal head, to achieve the best steel-to-wood connections and is best driven in using the AW 40 Bit or a metric hexagonal socket. The engineered hex head makes them suitable for lifting of timber elements in conjunction with the Transport Anchor and the Yoke systems.
