Product Description
The Yoke XL is a heavy-duty anchoring system designed and tested for lifting various heavy mass timber elements including CLT, NLT and DLT panels. In addition to lifting heavy panels horizontally, the Yoke XL is engineered for safe and efficient wall panel tilting and lifting when used on the panel’s narrow edge.
The Yoke XL can be used in various screw patterns, with 4, 8 or 12 screws to cover a wide range of panel weights and lifting scenarios. The Yoke XL anchor is fastened onto the rigged element using either ASSY VG CSK, ASSY Ecofast or ASSY SK self-tapping screws to ensure a quick and easy installation without any pre-drilling. The self-tapping screws used with the Yoke XL system are ICC-ESR approved in the United States and CCMC (Canadian Construction Materials Centre Reports) code-approved in Canada.
Following the guidelines in our Rigging Design Guide, and with a well-designed truckload sequencing, four Yoke XL anchors can lift heavy timber members of up to 18,000 lb into place while noticeably increasing rigging efficiency.
