Product Description

Product Description

The Mass Timber Bracket Light (MTBL) is a solution tested in and for North America to be used for various panel-to-panel applications in Mass Timber construction, such as wall-to-floor connections.

Fast to install, the MTBL is fastened onto mass timber elements using ASSY Ecofast self-tapping screws without the need for pre-drilling. The MTBL is a 1/16″ thick ductile connector for Mass Timber structures. With its unique design, the MTBL can withstand loads like thicker 1/8″ steel brackets, providing a more cost-effective solution.

Features

  • Available in two sizes, the MTBL 90 and MTBL 105
  • Installed with 3/16” [4.5 mm] diameter ASSY Ecofast
  • Easily installed with structural self-tapping screws
  • Engineered from thin 1/16” galvanized steel with a reinforced perimeter
  • Tested under cyclic and monotonic loading with North American CLT
  • Tested in the following load directions => Tension, Compression, Lateral and Uplift
  • Detailed capacities and system behavior available in the Connectors Design Guide
