Product Description

Product Description

The BSP-S [Base Shear Plate – Solid] connector is designed for high-strength shear connections in seismic applications. The BSP-S main application is to connect CLT shear wall to concrete foundation.

Using 1/2” [12 mm] diameter ASSY FT Kombi structural self-tapping screws, the BSP-S is rapidly and easily installed on CLT shear walls. The failure mechanism of the BSP-S connector is designed to be the screw yielding in failure mode IIIs or IV. The self-tapping screws used with the BSP-S system are specifically designed for high-performance steel-to-wood connections and are ICC-ESR code-approved in the United States.
