The Los Angeles Board of Building and Safety Commissioners has awarded ASSY screws with a research report in January 2017. The ASSY screw series is the first structural wood screw of its kind to carry the LARR approval in Los Angeles. The LARR report outlines boundary conditions for the use of ASSY 3.0 screws in wood to wood connections. This report was based on ICC ESR-3179.
