Pathways of Progress

Our history stands as a testament to steady growth and adaptation in a new, fast-pacing and booming industry. Here below are a few memorable milestones we've reached

2015

Our first ICC approvals for partially and fully threaded strucutral fasteners to be used in modern mass timber material, in North America, featuring carbon-steel ASSY 3.0 Ecofast, Kombi, SK, VG CSK, VG CYL fasteners

1/4” (6 mm), 5/16” (8 mm), 3/8” (10 mm), 1/2” (12 mm)

2018

The ICC approval extended further to include fasteners installed at a 45° angle relative to the grain in steel-to-wood and wood-to-wood applications.

Assy mass timber fasteners installed at a 45° angle relative to the grain were certified by ICC in 2018 for steel-to-wood and wood-to-wood applications
2019

We tested and launched a brand new line of pre-engineered connectors in order to smooth even further design engineers duty with the MTS15 for tension applications and MTBL for panel-to-panel applications.

2021

We've expanded upon our solutions roaster, with the development & released of 2 stronger variations of our tension strap, the MTSI-30 and the MTSI-40. We've also finalized the integration in our ICC approval report for partially threaded structural fasteners the buckling capacity of ASSY Komi LT 1/2" (12 mm).

2022

A not-so-small revolution happened with the testing, approval and launching of the ICC approved ASSY 4.0 series, a development of our already famous structural fastener line.

2023

In addition to seeing the RICON S VS series being awarded with on ICC approval, we did expand our product line with the addition of the Megant E beam hanger, the extended version of the MEGANT, with deeper clamping jaws, specifically made & tested for seismic scenarios.

We've also added with our MTC pre-drill jig a not-so-small item to support a more consistent and precise fastener installation with less effort and in less time.

ICC certification was obtained for Ricon S VS beam hanger, a pre-engineered highi-capacity mass timber post-to-beam connector, featuring a pre-installable, drop-in assembly design that is suitable for wood-to-steel, wood-to-concrete, and wood-to-wood connections, certified by ICC-ES to meet code requirements in North America, pre-installable, and rated for one-hour fire resistance
