What hardware and tools do I need to install RIDGE?
For an accurate installation of RIDGE, MTC recommends:
- A low-RPM, high-torque drill with a feathering trigger for enhanced speed control.
- RW 40 bits for optimal torque transmission.
- The RIDGE pre-drilling jig for accurately located pilot holes.

What hardware comes with RIDGE systems?
Each RIDGE connector set includes all the necessary components for secure installation.
- Two identical aluminum connector plates
- MTC-FTC (ASSY VG CSK) 8 x 120 mm or 8 x 160 mm structural screws for the primary member, depending on the specified fastener package, and 8 × 160 mm structural screws for the secondary member*
- Four 6 x 80 mm [1/4 x 3-1/8 in.] MTC-PTC (ASSY Ecofast) positioning screws
