MTC cast iron 45° Wedge Washers, and the associated 45° Pre-Drill Jig are engineered cost-saving solutions for steel-to-wood connections. The Wedge Washers are available in three different sizes and are compatible with 5/16” [8 mm], 3/8” [10mm], and 1/2” [12 mm] countersunk headed fasteners [i.e., ASSY Ecofast & ASSY VG CSK]., They are easily installed into machined elliptical holes in steel plates. Using a 45° Pre-Drilling Jig during the installation will accelerate the process even further, reducing the overall connections’ cost and ensuring a successful and uniform installation.
