APEX and RIDGE mass timber beam hangers are evaluated for compliance with the International Building Code (IBC) and International Residential Code (IRC) under ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) report ESR-5466, revised in September 2026.
The report covers these North American-made, pre-engineered connectors for mass timber beam-to-beam and beam-to-column connections. It provides allowable loads, design requirements and installation conditions for use under the 2024, 2021 and 2018 editions of the IBC and IRC, subject to the report’s conditions.
