The revised ICC ESR-3178 for ASSY fully threaded screws is now available! This updated version includes approval for uses in Cross Laminated Timber, withdrawal design values for side grain applications, with the addition of withdrawal design values for 45° applications. ICC ESR-3178 is now the first ICC approval to feature use of fully threaded fasteners in CLT & inclined fully-threaded screw application, with design procedures for steel-to-wood and wood-to-wood inclined screw connections.
