The International Code Council (ICC) has awarded the SWG ASSY screw with an updated evaluation service report in fall 2024. As the first structural wood screw of its kind the SWG ASSY screw series carries the ICC approval in North America for structural stainless steel screws. The ICC report outlines boundary conditions for the use of SWG ASSY 3.0 & 4.0 screws in wood to wood connections where increased corrosion resistance is required.
