The hex head is engineered for installation using either a socket or a bit for multipurpose applications. The reinforced and tapered shoulder below the screw head ensures a tight fit in pre-drilled steel plate holes. The tapered shape enables the screw to self-center. The ASSY Kombi screw is equipped with a regular hex head, in order to achieve the best steel-to-wood connections. The ASSY Kombi screw can also be driven with a regular AW 40 Bit. The engineered hex head is suitable for lifting of timber elements in conjunction with the Transport Anchor and the Yoke systems.
